“You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great”
Background
My adolescent years were marked by competitive gymnastics. Through that training, I was also exposed to the dance world (ballet, jazz and contemporary dancing) and participated in cheerleading competitions as well. I eventually got to coach a competitive gymnastics team. I have always been fond of the sport as it shaped who I am and taught me many life lessons.
An element I have always carried since quitting the sport is the importance of muscular endurance and training. Through barre classes, I hope to inspire those that want to start working out and to encourage those that want to keep improving.
I can’t wait to see you all on the mat!
